Christian has nearly 15 years of experience in the battery value chain as M&A and Commercial Director for Johnson Matthey Battery Materials and Business Development Manager Battery Solutions for SGL Carbon. Christian completed two Master studies and holds a degree in Economics from university of Essen and a degree in Industrial Chemistry from university of Münster, where he specialized in Batteries at MEET institute. He also worked at BASF and Evonik for several years during his studies. Beside Chem4Batteries Christian holds a Battery Advisiory role at Roland Berger.

Christian Rüdiger

Kodai has a master’s degree in science and engineering, specializing in Electrochemistry, from Yokohama National University in Japan. He gained a lot of knowledge and skills in the battery industry by working at leading companies such as Toyota Motor and Nissan. He is a specialist in solid state chemistry.

Muhammad worked as scientific researcher at technical university of Berlin, MEET Battery Research Center and DECHEMA Forschung. He also gained scientific experience working at Max Planck Institute. Muhammad holds a master’s degree in chemical engineering from Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg and a BS Engineering from university of the Punjab. Currently he finishs his Phd.

Jack is a veteran in the battery industry with nearly 25 years of work history. He has a degree in applied chemistry and chemical engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology, and he worked for companies across the value chain such as Johnson Matthey, Zeto Anode, Celgard and Novolyte. Jack has both technical battery knowledge and business acumen, especially in Licensing and Venturing.

Shun has extensive expertise in the production of lithium-ion batteries, with 15 years of experience in the battery sector and a master’s degree in science and engineering from Chuo University and MBA from Mannheim. He has been part of the pre-development and series development of lithium-ion batteries for Electric Vehicles at renowned companies such as Mercedes-Benz and Nissan.

Marco has four years management consulting experience from Roland Berger and 10 years battery industry experience. During his studies he was researching on batteries at RWTH Aachen University, Tsinghua University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Marco holds a M.Sc. Business Administration and Mechanical Engineering from RWTH Aachen University, a M.Sc. Power Engineering and Engineering Thermophysics from Tsinghua University, and an MBA from Collège des Ingénieurs.

Simon is a professional with more than 25 years of experience in new business development. He has worked with companies such as Johnson Matthey, Catalytic Combustion Corporation and Fenzi. He holds a BSc in Ceramic Science and Engineering from Staffordshire University. He moved to the US in 2000 and is the representative of Chem4Batteries for the North American market.
