A comprehensive analysis of European battery recycling regulations was conducted, focusing on the new Batteries Regulation, the End-of-Life Vehicles Regulation, and the Critical Raw Materials Act (CRMA), along with their implications for OEMs. The development of the battery recycling value chain was assessed including the evolving market dynamics between OEMs and recyclers. Additionally, an evaluation of Asian suppliers entering the European market was carried out to understand regulatory impacts and potential future supply chain challenges.
