Technology Licensing for Battery Recycling

Advising on black mass refining technologies and potential partners assessment

Another area of expertise is how to recycle lithium-ion batteries. We examine the current recycling methods, the challenges and dangers involved, the global regulations, and the new modes of recycling batteries. By using Black Mass refining capacity, we help our clients study the most effective ways for turning battery waste into new sales products in an eco-friendly manner.
In this client project we identified, evaluated and chose technology providers of Black Mass Refining technologies. We helped find the best solutions for recovering valuable metals from the waste products (Black Mass) during battery recycling, such as cobalt, nickel, manganese and lithium. Moreover, we provide guidance on the Testing of recycled intermediates as feedstock for producing Battery Grade PCAM Precursor Materials. We evaluate the quality and performance of the recycled materials as inputs for making high-purity cathode active materials for new batteries.
Additionally, we performed Technology Due Diligence and started strategic partnership discussions. We assisted in confirming the technical feasibility, economic viability and environmental sustainability of the selected technologies and partners, as well as easing the negotiations for cooperation.

These services are designed to support you in achieving your circular economy goals and enhancing your competitive advantage in the battery industry. If you are interested in any of these services, please contact us.
